Options for owners of non-perkable lots: Land Donations

There are no plans to install a sewer or water system in Drum Point for the foreseeable future. You may contact the Calvert County Sewer and Water Department 410-535-1600 with any questions.

Options include:

1. Donate to Southern Calvert Land Trust (410-326-2198)

2. Donate to DPPOA, Contact Tom Pelagatti (410-535-0060) or office

3. Re-perk the lot (approximately $500.00)

4. Sell to a neighbor interested in expanding property¹

5. Abandon to tax sale (for questions concerning tax sale, contact the Calvert County Tax office at 410-535-1600)

6. Contact local real estate agent for possible sale based upon successful perk test paid for by the agent.¹
